Championships

WE WON!!!!!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!! *spazzes* YES YES YES YES YES!!!

^ignore the above, I'm still spazzing from our win yesterday....^ But anyho....we beat them! We beat Westboro! Finally!!!! Yes!

And its good that we came in 1st today, cos its our last year swimming in this league. Next year, its ALL U.S.

It was SO hot yesterday. I finished swimming after the 100 IM, and was sitting in the shade doing gimp cos it was too hot to do anything else. But I went to watch the relays cos everyone watches the relays. And it was so dang hot.

Uh...whats my point here? Oh yeah. Then after the relays [we came in like 3rd for the girls, and 1st for the boys I think], they announced the winners.

So first they do the boys. I was like I dont care about the boys. Just get on to the real thing, eh? The boys came in 3rd, just so you know, with 255 points. Then they announced the girls. We came in 2nd [YAY!] with 330 points. Then the real thing. For some reason, they start with 9th place and work their way up. You should start at 1st place and work your way down. Just my opinions, anyways. So the guy says all of the team names and the points. And then after he announced 3rd place, he goes "One point separates first and second place. In second place...*dramatic pause*..." Ok, I just have to tell you my feelings at this point. I honestly did not think we would win. I thought we would get 2nd again like last year. But then I heard "by one point" and I was like if we dont win this thing, I will murder Tony. But 2nd place wouldnt be that bad, I thought. Winning would be nice, really nice, but I guess it would all be good if we got 2nd....except for Tony dying...

Oh. Ok. You dont want me to ramble on about how Tony is going to die. So he says "In second place...*dramatic pause*......*more pause*.....Westboro". And me, Katie, Tiffany, Lavinia and the parents are screaming. We screamed so high I dont think the bats could hear us. Then was the hugging. Well, not the guys cos theyre...guys. So we highfived and hugged. I dont think the guys screamed either, except Tiffany did say she saw Jeffrey jumping up and down. Well, everyone was.

And we pushed Annette into the pool. Not we, actually, Alex [male Alex] did and we all watched. Lavinia wouldnt jump in though. Aw, no fun.

When we walked back to the waiting place, all the Westboro swimmers were giving us dirty looks. A girl said "But we won every year except this one!!!!" and I was thinking "Well, we lost every year except this one." The coaches were giving everyone sympathy hugs. Sympathy hugs? Really? Yeesh....sore losers....

The party was....interesting....considering everyone stole my stuff! First was my hat. My Rube Goldberg hat. Who wants a Rube Goldberg hat? Its geeky! Then Jeffrey took my Rubik's cube. There was a whole confusion on which cube was mine, because Michael had his too. I finally got it back though, from some kid. I gave it to another little kid, some girl...dont know her name though.

And the shoes. Jeffrey stole my shoes. And tossed them around. And Eamon took it and was running around with it. I was like gawd how much can that kid run?

People if you are reading this, DO NOT STEAL MY STUFF ANYMORE. MY STUFF IS GEEKY. YOU DONT WANT GEEKY STUFF.

After the party was the party at Michael's house. More swimming, more eating. Michael built a fire. It was big. At night we roasted marshmellows over it, and Michael kept burning his. He burnt like 9 of them.

Me and Patricia went swimming at night. Then Julia joined us, then Steven and Abigail. Tiffany was on land trying to solve a Rubik's cube. I gave her my guide, cos I can always just print out another one.

I got home at 10. What a great day. We won the Championships, and I went to 2 parties.

Life rocks.
